Travel Options

By CAR or VAN:

Have you considered saving the mileage on your own vehicle and possibly renting a mini-van for the trip.  If you live within about 700 miles, you can save quite a bit of money if the whole team rides together in a van.

Example -- From  San Francisco, CA to Las Vegas -- about 570 miles, estimated drive time is 9 hr 13 min + stops.

Rent a mini van for $399(quote from Budget Rent a Car, picking up at San Francisco Airport, not including taxes, etc., June June 24 - July 1)

Fuel round trip approx.  - $304.00 based on 15 mpg @ $4.00 per gallon)

Total cost for travel - $703 -- or about $140 per bowler (5)  AND you have a vehicle to travel around Las Vegas.

BY AIR:

Short on time or traveling a greater distance?  By holding the tournament in Las Vegas - it is a "Vacation Destination"  from many cities across the country.  Best tips are:  BOOK EARLY both airfare and car rentals are MUCH cheaper when you book several months in advance.

        Check for low airfares...

Some of these may have a way for you to subscribe to receive email notification for any sales or specials.

Remember that if you book online direct - you may find a better price/deal than going through an agency.  Most agencies will add a service fee per airline ticket purchased.

Also  - remember the Suncoast is about 16-18  miles northwest  of other Strip hotels and about 15 miles from the downtown area -- so  ground charges for taxi rides, etc. will cost you more.  And, if you stay elsewhere, you will need transportation to/from the tournament site --so a rental car may be needed.

Lastly, most rental car agencies will NOT rent to anyone under the age of 25 and require a major credit card to guarantee the rental - plan ahead to avoid problems.
