Dress Code

 

 

THE 2008 JWTC WILL FEATURE A NEW DRESS CODE...

THERE WILL BE 2 DRESS CODES -- ONE FOR THURSDAY & FRIDAY EVENTS

    AND ONE FOR SATURDAY & SUNDAY EVENTS....  

Dress codes as stated apply to both male and female bowlers...any bowler who is not in compliance with dress code at start of competition may be disqualified without refund.

Thursday Sweepers & Friday Survivor Dress Code

Collared shirts will not be required for these events.  However, shirts with alcohol or tobacco advertising, or with offensive material printed on them, will not be allowed.  Shirt must come down to the waist (abdomen fully covered when extended at the foul line).  Pants, jeans, shorts or skirts may be worn, but may not have holes or rips in them.  Shorts/shirts must be no shorter than 2 inches above the knee measured when standing straight .  All pants, shorts, skirts, etc. shall be worn at waist level (no sagging is permitted). Undergarments may not be visible.  Hats are not allowed. No sweat pants or sweat shirts may be worn. 

SATURDAY & SUNDAY JWTC TEAM EVENT & SUNDAY SECOND CHANCE TOURNAMENT:

Tournament Management shall determine what constitutes proper dress for participation. While meant to be limiting, the following applies:

A. Boys must wear dress slacks and a sport shirt with a collar.  No denim or cargo type pants are permitted.

B. Girls must either wear dress slacks or an appropriate skirt and sport shirt with a collar.  Skirts must be no shorter than 2 inches above the knee. 

C.  Sleeveless shirts are not allowed.  All bowling shirts must have sleeves and a collar.  Shirts must be long enough to fully cover the abdomen when fully extended at the foul line.

D.  All slacks, pants, etc. must be worn at waist level - no sagging is allowed and no undergarments shall be visible.

E. All teams advancing to the semi-finals and finals MUST wear team shirts (matching shirts). {Applies to team event only}

F.  Clothing with alcohol or tobacco advertising, or with offensive material printed on them, will not be allowed

G.  No hats are permitted to be worn

H.  Electronic devices such as Ipods, MP3 players, etc. may not be worn or used on the approach - they may be used in the setee area so long as they are not audible to any other bowler.  Cellular phones and pagers shall be put on silent mode or turned off and not used during competition.
